What is work reference on job application?

i have to give up to 4 work references and i only had one job before. and i am a student in college and the job is at the college as well so who would be a good work reference?

A reference is anyone who can attest to either your work ethic or your character. I would suggest putting down your current supervisor from your job at the college, intructors from your classes and if you still don't have enough you can put down peers from your classes as well. Be sure to let these people know that you weill be using them as a reference.
