Question by zeruhn: Where is the trillion coming from to help uninsured Americans get health insurance?

According to USA Today, 45 million Americans don't have health insurance. It also said the first year would take about trillion the first year to get that plan in operation. Where is that money coming from? China? Our great grand kids?

There will be cost reductions to Medicare (old people will have less coverage or pay more for Medicare).

There will be lower reimbursements to doctors and hospitals (but the plan fails to recognize that when you lower reimbursements, utilization increases, which means costs will increase.)

So-called "rich people" will be taxed, but you'll quickly find out that YOU are very, very rich.
