The Town of Veteran Historical Society will hold its first meeting of 2011 at 7 pm. Jan. 11 at the Veteran Town Hall, 4049 Watkins Road in Millport.

KENTâ€"The Kent Historical Society’s next Sunday Series program at Kent Town Hall will be a talk by executive director Marge Smith on the life and times of prestigious artist George Laurence Nelson and the house he restored in Flanders. The program is scheduled for 2 p.m. Jan. 16, at Kent Town Hall.
