This Audio Book is spoken in modern Greek language
Odysseus, king of Ithaca, is on his way home after the end of the Trojan war. During this long journey he cofronts many adverse conditions. He loses his comrades in a storm after which he is found on the island of the nymph Calypso, where he spends seven years against his will. Goddess Athena though, intervenes and helps Odysseus. In Ithaca his wife Penelope and son Telemachus must deal with a gropy of unruly suitors, the Mnesteres, competing for Penelope's hand in marriage and subsequently Odysseus' throne. Eventually, Odysseus returns to Ithaca, punishes the suitors and promises to reign with wisdom.
