What states have isued a statewide or local hydrofracking bans?
I know New York just issued an 11; month ban in the marcellus shale today.
What are other states doing to tackle this issue?

At this point in time i believe New York is the only place to put a moratorium on hydraulic fracturing. I know Philadelphia is studying the issue and may issue a ban later this year. I am not aware of any states banning it. I see that the E.P.A. has started to look into the subject.
